Tomato Curry

Tomato Curry is a South Indian side dish. Made with grated apple and chopped tomatoes, this easy-to-make recipe is best served with steamed rice. Try it.

Ingredients :

  • 2 medium chopped tomato
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 4 pinches salt
  • 8 leaves curry leaves
  • 1 medium grated apple
  • 50 gm butter
  • 5 teaspoon milk
  • 4 pinches black pepper

How to make Tomato Curry

  1. To make this side dish recipe, first of all, fry the grated apple and onion in butter until blended.
  2. Now, mix curry powder in 3 teaspoon milk and stir well. Add it to apple mixture.
  3. Allow it to boil. Now season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a separate frying pan saute tomatoes for 5 minute.
  5. Mix the sauted tomato to the apple mixture. Cover it for a while. Serve hot with boiled rice.
